Since thousands of years ago, people have been drinking tea worldwide. Tea has many health benefits for the body, spirit, and mind. This tea blog will teach mindfulness and how to integrate drinking tea into your daily routine.

Grandmother Flordemayo finds meditating with tea helps with mindfulness. Meditating can often be difficult if your mind is in different places. Meditating with tea can be used as a moving meditation. There are four simple steps for this meditation practice.

  1. Boil your water. As the water boils, inhale and exhale deeply and slowly. Think of what you're grateful for at this moment. As yourself what you need from your body.

  2. Steep your tea. Take in this beautiful moment and appreciate the aromas.

  3. Pour your tea into your mug Listen to the tea calmly entering the mug and ask yourself what your mind needs right now.

  4. Drink your tea. Appreciate the tea you consume as you nourish your mind, soul, and body. Sit and relax for a moment and close your eyes.

This tea meditation is perfect for a quick morning reset for mindfulness throughout the day.
