On this sacred New Moon, as the Sun & Moon meet in the sign of Aquarius, we are invited into a powerful moment of renewal. This is not an ordinary New Moon. It carries the amplified medicine of a Solar Eclipse, a cosmic doorway that opens pathways of destiny, revelation, & collective transformation.

In our ancestral teachings, we understand that when the light shifts in the heavens, something within us also shifts. The outer sky is always a reflection of our inner sky.

An eclipse is a pause in the rhythm of the cosmos, a sacred interruption.In that interruption, Spirit speaks.

An eclipse accelerates time. What may have taken years to unfold can begin shifting within weeks or months. It clears old contracts, dissolves outdated identities, & reveals what has been hidden in the shadows.

Aquarius is the Water Bearer, carrying sacred wisdom for humanity. This is the sign of higher consciousness, innovation, unity, & community. It asks us to think beyond the small self & remember that we belong to something much greater.

In Indigenous teachings, we know that no one heals alone. We heal in circle & rise in community. We remember who we are through one another.

Aquarius energy can feel electric. It can bring sudden insights, awakenings, or realizations that change the direction of our path. It shakes us gently so that we may step into greater alignment with our soul’s purpose.

Aquarius governs the future (technology, systems, social movements). The way we organize ourselves as a global family. But it is important to remember, the future is not created by machines. It is created by consciousness.

So, this eclipse asks us: What kind of world are we praying into existence? Are we choosing division or unity? Fear or compassion? Isolation or community?

Each thought carries frequency. Each prayer carries power.

If you feel unrest in the world, know that it is part of the great awakening. Old systems must crumble so that new seeds can take root. We are in a time of re-visioning how we live upon Mother Earth … & you are part of that vision.

Ritual for the New Moon Eclipse

On the evening of the eclipse, I invite you into a simple practice:

1. Sit in silence.

2. Place your hands over your heart.

3. Call in your ancestors.

4. Speak aloud the future you wish to see for the next seven generations.

In this practice, do not speak only of your personal desires. Think of the wellbeing of humanity … Speak of rivers restored, children protected, elders honored, seeds preserved, communities united.

To finalize this intention, write down one action you can take that aligns with this greater vision. Aquarius reminds us that spiritual awakening must be embodied in action.

Words of Wisdom

Do not fear the changes that are coming. Do not cling to what is already dissolving. Do not underestimate the power of your voice. Do not be unsettled if what once felt certain now feels unclear. The eclipse does not come to confuse you, it comes to realign you.

Sometimes, Spirit must dim the outer light so that you remember how to see with your inner vision.

If something falls away, bless it.If something awakens within you, honor it.If you feel the trembling of change, breathe with it.

You are not being pushed off your path, you are simply being guided more deeply onto it. This is not a time to chase answers, it is a time to listen.

Remember, the Sun is only hidden for a moment. Its light never dies. In the same way, your purpose may feel obscured at times, but it is never gone. Aquarius asks you to be brave enough to be different. The eclipse asks you to be brave enough to be true.

Trust that what is leaving is making space for a vision far greater than what you could have planned with the mind alone. Stand in your authenticity, your compassion, & stand in your responsibility to the collective.
