Practice Mindfulness During The Day

Every day, even we’re taking it easy, we can still breathe life and space into our daily routine with the practice of mindfulness and awareness.

  1. Start each day with gratitude. Taking a few moments to reflect in the morning can set a positive tone for your day. Keeping a journal for this would be helpful. I love our Leather Tree Goddess Spiritual Journal.

  2. Make your bed with mindfulness. Instead of viewing it as a mundane task or a chore, turn bed-making into a moving meditation. Enjoy making your space a more comfortable environment,

  3. Set positive daily intentions. When you wake up in the morning set the beginning of your day with positivity. Whether it’s to let something negative go or speak to those around you with kindness let this intention be your guiding light and change it up based on what you need for the day.

  4. Try a daily walking meditation. Find a peaceful place in nature where you won’t be disturbed, then walk slowly and mindfully along the path. Walking meditation involves bringing consciousness to an automatic activity you don’t even think about.
