Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Pisces

This weekend we are blessed with the presence of a Lunar Eclipse under the Full Moon in Pisces. It is a time of deep reflection, purification, & surrender. The Moon, our Grandmother in the Sky, shines her light not only upon the Earth, but into the chambers of our hearts, illuminating what has been hidden & inviting us to release what no longer serves our journey.

In the Mayan way, we understand the Moon as the keeper of cycles, the one who guides the waters, the tides, & the flow of life within our very bodies. In this sacred alignment, Pisces, the sign of intuition, dreams, & compassion, brings forward the medicine of water: to cleanse, to dissolve, & to remind us that all things return to the ocean of Spirit.

The Energy of a Lunar Eclipse

When a Lunar Eclipse comes, it is as if the Universe places a veil over the Moon for a moment, asking us to pause, to sit in the stillness, & to listen with our inner ear. Eclipses are portals of change — they close doors so new ones may open. This is not always easy, but it is always sacred.

You may feel emotions rising like great waves. Old memories may return, or relationships may shift before your eyes. Do not be afraid. This is the Moon reminding us that life is a spiral, & that we are always in the process of becoming.

Pisces & the Sacred Waters

Pisces is the sign of the dreamer, the healer, & the mystic. It reminds us of our oneness with all creation. Just as water has no boundaries, our spirits are not bound by the illusions of separation. Beloved Creator, Great Mystery, & Sacred Grandmother Moon,

We come before you with open hearts on this night of eclipse.

As your light is veiled & revealed,

So too may the veils within us be lifted,

That we may see with clarity, compassion, & truth.

Grandmother of the Waters,

Cleanse us of the heaviness we carry.

Wash away our fears, our doubts, our sorrows,

& return us to the flow of Spirit,

Where all things are one,

As the rivers are one with the sea.

Pisces Moon, dreamer & healer,

Guide us into the silence of the soul.

Let our dreams be filled with wisdom,
