Taurus Full Moon
We live in a world that often asks us to hurry. We are encouraged to do more, to seek more, & to measure our lives by what we have accomplished or what we have gathered along the way. But the Earth teaches us a different way of living. She teaches us patience. She teaches us how to nourish what is growing, how to honor the seasons of our lives, & how to trust that even when we cannot see what is happening beneath the surface, something beautiful may be taking root.
This is the wisdom I feel within the Taurus Full Moon.
Taurus is an Earth sign, deeply connected to the physical world, our sense of belonging, & the things we hold dear. Under this Moon, we are invited to remember what truly sustains us. Not only the food we eat or the homes in which we live, but the love we share, the kindness we offer, the prayers we carry, & the relationship we maintain with the living Earth.

The Hunter’s Moon
This Full Moon is also known as the Hunter’s Moon, a traditional name given to the full moon that follows the Harvest Moon. Historically, this time of year marked a season when fields had been harvested, leaves were falling, & hunters could more easily see across the land as they prepared food for the colder months ahead. It was a time of preparation, awareness, & honoring the nourishment needed to sustain life through winter.
There is wisdom in this seasonal teaching. The Hunter’s Moon reminds us to be mindful of what we are gathering & how we are preparing for the days to come. Just as our ancestors understood the importance of planning ahead & respecting the resources provided by the Earth, we, too, must learn to care for what sustains us. This is not only about gathering food or material things, but also about nourishing our spirits, strengthening our relationships, & tending to the wisdom we carry within.
This moon remind us that preparation is an act of care, gratitude is a form of abundance, & the wisdom to live in harmony with the seasons is a gift we can carry forward to the next generation.

What Is Truly Valuable
When I think about the Earth, I think about the seeds. A seed carries within it the possibility of life, yet it asks for our care. It needs good soil, water, sunlight, & time. We cannot demand that it become a tree overnight. We must learn to be patient with its unfolding.
Our lives are much the same.
Each of us carries seeds within our hearts. We carry dreams, wisdom, gifts, & the potential to bring something meaningful into this world. But we must tend to these things. We must give ourselves the time & nourishment we need to grow.
Sometimes we become so busy caring for everyone else that we forget to care for the seeds within our own hearts. We forget to rest. We forget to listen. We forget that we, too, are part of the sacred circle of life & are deserving of the same tenderness we offer to others.
Please remember that your worth is not measured by how much you do or how much you possess. Your worth is not diminished by the seasons when you must rest, begin again, or ask for help. You are a part of this beautiful creation, You belong here.
The Full Moon invites us to recognize the abundance that already surrounds us. Abundance is a meal shared with someone we love. It is the sound of birds in the morning, the warmth of the sun upon our faces, or the quiet comfort of knowing we have someone to turn to when life becomes difficult. These gifts may appear small, but they are not small at all. When we learn to recognize what is sacred in our everyday lives, gratitude begins to change the way we see the world.
What to Hold & What to Release
The Full Moon in Taurus arrives during Scorpio season, bringing together the energies of grounding & transformation. One reminds us to cherish what sustains us, while the other invites us to look honestly at what may need to change.
There is wisdom in both.
We must learn to recognize what deserves our protection & what we are holding on to simply because we are afraid to let it go.
Perhaps we are carrying old hurts, or have become attached to expectations that no longer reflect who we are. Perhaps we are trying so hard to maintain a sense of security that we have forgotten to trust the natural unfolding of life.
I encourage you to sit quietly with these feelings rather than push them away. We do not need to be afraid of what we discover when we look within ourselves. Awareness is a beginning. When we can see something clearly, we can begin to choose how we wish to move forward.
Let us hold close the people, teachings, & values that nourish our spirits. Let us release the burdens that prevent us from walking forward with open hearts. And let us remember that change does not mean we have lost our way. Sometimes change is how we find our way back.

Our Responsibility to Mother Earth
When we speak of abundance, we must also speak of reciprocity.
The Earth gives to us every day. She provides the soil that grows our food, the water that sustains our bodies, & the plants & trees that make life possible. Yet we must ask ourselves whether we are giving the same care & attention in return.
Our relationship with the Earth cannot be only about what we receive. It must also be about how we care for what has been entrusted to us.
This is why the seeds hold such a special place in my heart. A seed is more than something we place in the ground. It carries the promise of future nourishment, the memory of generations, & the possibility of life continuing long after we are gone.
When we protect seeds, we are thinking beyond ourselves. We are remembering the children who will come after us. We are considering the communities that will need nourishment, the land that must be cared for, & the wisdom that must not be lost.
The Taurus Full Moon is a beautiful time to reflect on this responsibility.
How might we become better caretakers of the Earth? How might we waste less, give more, & approach the natural world with greater reverence? What can we teach our children about gratitude, stewardship, & the importance of living in relationship with all that sustains us?
We do not need to begin with something grand. We can begin with the soil beneath our feet, the food on our tables, the water we use, & the kindness we extend to the living beings around us.
Every act of care matters.
May we remember that we are not separate from Mother Earth. We are part of her living circle, & our well-being is connected to hers.

A Blessing for You
Walk gently upon the Earth & remember the gifts she offers us each day.
Recognize the abundance that lives not only in our hands, but in our hearts, our relationships, & the beauty of the natural world.
Have the courage to release what no longer nourishes you & the patience to tend to the seeds of what you wish to become.
Care for one another with tenderness. Teach our children to honor the Earth. Remember that every living being has a place within the great circle of life.
Never become so busy searching for blessings that you forget to recognize the blessings already before you.
Take care of yourselves. Take care of one another. Take care of our Mother Earth.
We have been given this beautiful life, & we have a responsibility to treat it as something sacred.
You are Love. There is nothing but Love. Love is all there is.
~ Blessings!
