The Scorpio Full Moon

As the Full Moon rises, we enter a point that asks us to feel deeply, to see clearly, & to release willingly. This Scorpio Moon is not here to comfort us in the ways we may expect. Instead, it arrives as a mirror, reflecting the truths we have tucked away & the emotions we have yet to fully honor.

Scorpio is the keeper of the hidden realms. It governs the waters of transformation, where endings & beginnings exist as one continuous cycle. Under this Moon, you may feel a stirring within your spirit, a quiet knowing that something is ready to shift, to fall away, or to be reborn.

This is the medicine of Scorpio … To bring light into the darkness, not to expose us, but to liberate us.

You may notice the energy moving through you in subtle or intense ways:

  • Emotions rising unexpectedly, asking to be felt

  • A pull inward toward solitude, reflection, or silence

  • Old memories or wounds resurfacing for healing

  • Heightened intuition, dreams, or inner guidance

  • A desire to release what feels heavy or no longer aligned

Do not turn away from these experiences. What comes forward now carries wisdom. Your spirit is guiding you into deeper truth, even if the path feels unfamiliar.

The Influence of Scorpio

Scorpio is a sign of depth, mystery, & profound transformation, guided by the element of water & the unseen forces that shape both life & spirit. This sign is typically portrayed as intense, but beneath that intensity lies great emotional intelligence, loyalty, & the courage to face what others may avoid.

Scorpio also teaches us about the cycles of death & rebirth. Not only in the physical sense, but within our inner worlds, where identities, beliefs, & wounds are continuously being shed & renewed. This sign carries the energy of the alchemist, capable of turning pain into wisdom & shadow into light. It is about looking beyond the surface, to embrace truth in its rawest form, & to understand that real healing comes from within.

Scorpio teaches us that transformation requires honesty. It asks us to sit with our true selves, not the version we show the world, but the version that exists in quiet moments. The one who knows what must be let go, the one who is ready to grow.

There is no need to rush through this process. Move gently & listen closely during this time.

Flower Moon

This Moon is also known as the Flower Moon, a name given to honor the abundance of blossoms that emerge during this time of year. Across the Earth, flowers rise in beauty & color, reminding us of nature’s readiness to bloom after seasons of dormancy. In the same way, this Moon reflects a blossoming within us, what we have been tending to quietly is now ready to open.

Yet, under the influence of Scorpio, this energy is not just light & gentle, it is deeply transformative. Just as flowers must push through soil to reach the sun, we too are asked to grow through what has challenged us.

This is a time to remember:

  • Growth can be both beautiful & uncomfortable

  • What blooms now has been forming beneath the surface

  • Your transformation is preparing you to open in new ways

You are not only releasing, you are becoming!

May Day (Beltane)

As this powerful Full Moon rises, it aligns with the sacred threshold of May 1st, known in many traditions as May Day or Beltane. This is a celebration of life’s blossoming, fertility, & the re-awakening of the Earth. While Scorpio invites us inward to release & transform, Beltane calls us outward to honor passion, creativity, & the vibrant pulse of life returning in full expression.

Together, these energies create a beautiful balance: one of letting go & coming alive all at once.

Beltane has long been honored with fire, symbolizing both purification & vitality. It is a time when the veil between worlds is said to be thin, much like the energy of Scorpio, allowing us to commune more deeply with spirit, nature, & the unseen forces that guide us. There is a reminder here, that transformation is not only about endings, but also about rekindling the flame within.

You can honor this day in small heartfelt ways:

  • Light a candle or fire as a symbol of renewal & creative life force

  • Adorn your space or altar with flowers, greenery, or symbols of spring

  • Spend time in nature, connecting with the Earth’s awakening energy

  • Dance, move your body, or celebrate the joy of being alive

  • Set intentions for what you wish to grow, create, or call in

This is a moment to remember that you are part of the great cycle of nature, just as you release, you also bloom. Just as you transform, you also come alive again in new & beautiful ways. Let the fires of Beltane ignite your spirit, while the waters of Scorpio cleanse & renew your soul.

Words of Wisdom

This Full Moon supports sacred practices that honor release & renewal. Create space for ceremony, even if it is in the simplest of ways.

  • Write down what you are ready to let go of, & offer it to the fire

  • Cleanse your body in water (rivers, spiritual bathing, even a mindful shower)

  • Speak your truth aloud under the moonlight

  • Sit in stillness & breathe into your heart space

  • Offer gratitude for both the lessons & the letting go

Release is not loss, it is change in motion.

There is a quiet strength within you that does not need to force or prove anything. This Full Moon reminds you that true power comes from your willingness to feel, to soften, & to trust the cycles of your becoming.

You are allowed to outgrow what once held you.You are allowed to change. You are allowed to begin again.

Even in the depths, there is wisdom. Even in the darkness, there is life waiting to emerge.

Let this Moon cleanse your spirit. Let it guide you back to your truth, the one rooted in your essence.

Walk gently with yourself, honor what is ending, & trust what is unfolding.

~ Blessings!
